Dec 11th Buccaneers @ Panthers 5th Annual Tailgate Party Plus Hotel Rates.
Ok guys/gals here is the info..
We have group rates at the Holiday Inn, Center City, 230 North College St, Charlotte, NC, 28202. Number to call - 704-335-5400 Group Name - Tampa Bay Buccaneer Fan Club Cut off Date - 5:00 p.m. (est) 11/25/05 Room Rate - $99.00 plus tax. You have 72 hours prior to cancel reservation. Number of Rooms Available - Friday 12-9 - 5 rooms, Saturday 12-10 - 20 rooms, and Sunday 12-11 - 20 rooms. These numbers will change if necessary and per availability. Please be aware that there is a Business conference in town that weekend so rooms are hard to come by, make your reservations now why the rooms are available. Check in time is After 3 and Check out is @ Noon. Parking. There is a fee for parking, but the hotel is across the street from the 7th Street parking deck which is free on the weekends and after 7 on Friday night. If you are parked there on Sunday night I think you have to be out by 6 am or they will charge you. Across the street from the hotel is a strip of night clubs, but other clubs in the area. the hotel have a bar we can hang out at also. There is also a FUEL Pizza across the street. The hotel is on the corner of Collage and 6th Street. If you make a reservation please email me @ buccaneers@ix.netcom.com so I can keep track of the room count to see if I need to add or take away from the reservation. Thanks. INTWTF

Dang, I can't believe I'm gonna miss you guys this year. December is just too darn late in the year to drive down from Ohio.

It's a shame you won't be able to make it this year...
But we will be looking for you next year.. If anything comes up and you can make it.... That would be great also... I'll drink a beer in honor of you that weekend...

Ya know, I'm already rethinking my position. I mean, after all, it's just a couple weeks later this year than last year so it shouldn't be too much colder. Hell, no matter what, it'll be warmer down there than up here in Ohio

Would you happen to have 2 spare tickets? My wife and I usually go to Atlanta to see the Bucs play, but after last year I doubt we'll ever go back. I felt like I was in Philly! Anyway let me know. I live in Anderson, SC and could meet to get the tickets when they mail them out. According to the box office they've sold out.

I just got an email about the tickets being ordered. My question is how many people are staying over night? I live only about 2 hours away from Charlotte, but I thought it might be cool to meet up with some of the other Bucs fans in the area and stay there on Saturday evening. Let me know.

There is usually a good amount who come down and party for the saturday and leave on Sunday after the game. some stay Sunday night also. With it be a dec game it's hard to tell right now, because tickets have just gone on sale. A lot of people wait until they have tickets to get this rooms, I should have a count later if you need an true number.

I'm here in NC but on the East Coast. A buddy of mine (Panther Fan) and I are really considering heading over there to Charlotte. It's about a 4 1/2 hour drive where I live so I would be interested in staying a couple of nights in Charlotte. Of course I would have to be able to get tickets but for some reason you always know there will be somebody selling them outside the stadium.

Well, guess I won't be coming down after all. Seems that now unless you are a resident of North Carolina or South Carolina you can't purchase tickets to Panthers games. If you order the tix with a credit card billing address outside of those two states they will not fill your order. What kind of bull***t is that?! Guess all the money I've spent the past two seasons to come down there doesn't mean a flip to thier 'organization'. I REALLY hate this team now and I can't wait till their offices open tomorrow morning to call and raise hell about this!

I have never heard of that... did you try to purchase using ticketmaster.. I don't think they would do anything like that... let me know, maybe I will have to put in a call also....

Atlanta starting doing the "GA only resident" thing about a year or so ago - right after Arthur Blank bought the team and their home game against us was really a home game for us - there were about 30,000 Bucs fans, which FAR outnumbered the Atlanta fans and Blank said that he would never let that happen again so since then, now you can only get Atlanta tickets if you live in or your credit card address is in the state of GA. I think this is totally unfair and outrageous. If tickets are only available through Ticketmaster, then anyone should be able to purchase them! Obviously Carolina is now doing the same thing.
For those of you who need tickets to any game, try Stubhub.com. I've bought tickets through them for several several games and have been happy with the cost and speed of delivery.

I might have some tickets (4) upper level, if anyone is interested let me know, I should have the info soon. A buddy of mine can't make it so he is going to be selling the tickets.
